A great community of people each doing their best to help our children.

A dedicated community, with active, involved families! Plus, they are working hard to transform their paved playground to a park-like setting which will be available to the neighborhood when school is not in session.

Saturn is a school that is shooting up the charts. We have improved our API score by 57 points. We have gone from 723 points to 780 points. We have a fabulous community group that is greening up our campus. Our teachers, administrators, staff members, and parents are working together to push our school to the forefront of our neighborhood. We have a principal who is a mover and a shaker. She is really involved in all aspects of the school.

I work at Saturn and am delighted that our API score went up 57 points. All the teachers and students worked really hard to produce that significant movement up. Next year, 880.

The Librarian, Mrs. Midel at the school is very good with the children and helps them a great deal. She is a valuable asset to the school. She is a positive influence on the children. I feel the students have benefited from volunteering in the library.

Saturn is a wonderful school full of bright and enthusiastic childen and dedicated staff. Unfortunatly a small number of adults may have one bad episode and think other wise. Come and visit the school and form your own opinion. Saturn is where college begins.

I have a son who is now into his second year at this school. I have had nothing but positive experiences from day one. HOWEVER, I don't have a child that has any special needs and I've never had to make any special request. I haven't had to deal with the school office/administration on any level. I was able to resolve any classroom issues with the teachers directly. I have no complaints.

Administration at this school are very inadequately trained. When asked for assistance, they cannot provide it, and the principle seems to not have the time to speak to parents regarding their children. Written rules for many school activities cannot be furnished, and are made up on th spot to serve the staff needs, which can change daily. My experience with this school has not been good so far. I am very dissapointed in how parents are pacified to get them out of the office, instead of the problems being handled. I would not recommend this school to any parent.

Unforntuately, I can only give this school 1 star. The reality is, it shouldn't receive any stars. When my older two children attendant 5 yrs ago it was a great school in my opinion. I have twins that are now 8 yrs. old that formerly attended this school from K to 2nd grade. During my twins kindergarten year the district, once again, changed it's cirriculum. One of my twins severely suffered from this new cookie cutter, all students learn the same way, take it or leave policy. I don't want to get long winded on this, I only have 150 characters to work with. That's just not enough to discuss this school. *******Parent's if your child attends this school, stay on top of everything. And if they need extra help, get it yourself. This schools principal is not going to recommend or do anything for you.

Saturn is a school with heart and patience. My child has gone there for almost 2 years. She has special needs and many issues, yet everyone at Saturn, especially her special ed teachers, have been wonderful and inclusive.
