It allows girls to develop self esteem and concentrate on their education while at school. Some people say that its bad going to an all girls school and thats what i thought at first but then i realized that it was so much better you dont get distracted at all and you dont have to impress a boy or anything and everybody i the class gets so close that it doesnt matter what you are doing or anything cause you al become best friends so its a better learning environment and you gain life long friends. The only difficulty can be that if your child does not enter from one of the traditional 'feeder' schools, they may feel a bit left out at first. However, they really work with the girls to make the freshman transistion happen. Also, the college counseling is superb. And, there is plenty of interaction with the 'brother' school Crespi, so there is no lack of boys. I honestly think this is a great school. and I would send my daughter to attend if I could afford it. my only critique, is thet I do not believe there is a proportional emphasis allowed to those families that wish the Athletic developement of their childs life. their can be more of an emphasis on winning and positive reinforcement.
