St. Teresa of Avila School Reviews

There a lot of wonderful things about St. Teresa of Avila school. The school has had the same principal for more than 20 years and she cares very much about the students and parents. She was even a student there herself! The same teachers have been working there for long time, too. The class sizes are small and there is a great afterschool enrichment program which was organized by one of the parents. She is truly amazing. St. Teresa of Avila is truly the treasure of Silver Lake.

St. Teresa of Avila School is truly a 'hidden treasure in Silver Lake'. Our school is dedicated to teaching the students to live in their world today while preparing them for the world of tomorrow. ALL OF THE TEACHERS ARE DEVOTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE CHILD AND RESPECT THE DIVERSITY THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL BRINGS TO THE CLASSROOM. The parents make many sacrifices so that their children can be part of our Panther family and many are alumni themselves. Once a Panther always a Panther - Panther Pride is alive and well in this little corner of Silver Lake.

My kids attend this school for several years now. I love this school since the teachers and staff are great and caring. This school build the intellect and character of children. By the beginning of 8th grade, the students at this school have a total grade equivalency of 9.2- one full year above their grade level.

i'm a class of 2004 graduate. i attended this school since k to 8th and it was a school that provided me with a small intimate commiunity that showed love and care like a family. it is the school that helped me become a successful scholar now going into college.

I have two kindergarten girls and one first grade boy. Here are a few thing that make this school the best place to send your kids. The Outstanding Teachers who are dedicated, caring , passionate, and devoted to our children. The teacher ratio is as low . They offer a wide variety of programs like, Spanish , Music,Gardening, Arts and Craft. Best of all the have a love and safe after school daycare till 6:00pm. We know are children are safe, and are growing to be happy intelligent criticalthinkers, socially responsibility's, loving and respectfully to everyone. In my opinion this is an excellent school where the teaches and the principal are 110% dedicated to the children.

I respect the decision of the parents in where to send their children to be educated. I thanks God that gave me the opportunity to send my children to a private school. My wife and I think we choose the right school, with good quality teachers, as well safe and discipline. It's a sacrifice but the best investment. My kids are in 6th. and 8th. grades, never applied for a scholarship.I hope somebody can give me a hint how to, looking forward to send them to a Private High School.
