Figtree's Cafe is located on the Venice Beach boardwalk. Our restaurant has patio dining with panoramic ocean views and our friendly staff, eclectic menu and delicious organic ingredients are some of the reasons why our food has been voted the best on the boardwalk.
Our goal is to provide our customers with a revitalizing and delicious dining experience. The menu offers everything from salads to pasta to burgers and sandwiches. Try our chicken avocado melt sandwich with watercress, red onions and sun dried tomatoes or the goat cheese and portabella mushroom scramble. Our capellini pasta with salmon, shrimp or chicken is a very popular dish too. We also have imported and domestic beers, wines and champagne.

 Do you know what your really eating?(roaches/rats)

I been working at this restaurant for some years now and the food is not what they tell you it is .To start off the food is not organic maybe 1/4 of the food and drinks they sell there is organic. The back kitchen is a roach and rat hotel. They have so many roaches and some of the biggest rats that you'll ever see why don't you ever see them? Roaches and rats dont come out when theirs a lot of noise or people around . Our manager usually looks early in the morning if he catch anything. He thinks its funny that theirs rat residue everywhere . The kitchen were the food is being prepare and made is the dirtiest of the whole restaurant even dirtier than the bathrooms. Why did it graded an An and a five star restaurant ? Well, the A was bought is funny what money can do and the stars are fake. They came and revue the food the food is great until you find out whats behind it. Bottom line think twice were you eat and what you eat. You might think I say not the truth but I work here I don't Lie .I tell you the truth because I hate my job the manager and owner get mad at the fact that I love to read and are always yelling at me but I dont do this to get back at them I do this because maybe is time for you to find out what you really eat. You dont have to believe me all you have to do is see it for your self . Next time check the bathrooms and then just take a glance at the kitchen you'll see what I am talking about.

The Figtree is amazing. The food is so fresh and the best part about it is the view. They also have a great breakfast special from 8-9 i believe that no one should miss out on...give it a try!!

I love the Fig Tree. The food is delish. The half price breakfast from 8 to 9 is my favorite. They make the best steaming hot latte. The shitake mushroom omlette or the chicken hash breakfast served with poached eggs are always spot on. I always get fresh organic salad greens in lieu of potatoes and they have fresh baked scones or toast on the side. The service is always great and the view is unbeatable. The figtree is one of my favorite parts of living here in Venice Beach. It is like an institution.
