Tips
- Look Good
Patrons can rent lockers for their wine collections here--from one case to 10,00 cases--in the ideal 55-degree storage temperature.
- On The Menu
Artisan cheese and salumi plates are available, and the owners and sommeliers are knowledgeable about pairing them with specific wines. Patrons can also buy a bottle of vino upstairs in the retail store and open it downstairs for a $10 corkage fee.
- The Extras
Smokers, rejoice: A walk-in humidor offers imported cigars and a room to smoke them in.

Well i went with my girlfriend, to try this new place out and it was great. The place is nice and intimate but small. The flights arent expensive and the staff were REAL REAL freindly and imformative. I liked this place, would recommend to anyone.
Pros: Good Prizes
Cons: When more people know about it, it will be too small

I thought it was such a nice, cozy lil' wine bar. It is great if you are out on a date. I liked the wines they offered for the wine tasting and not expensive. We were well informed about the wines and thought it was a great experience. It is a bit small, but since a lot of people don't know about it....makes the size just about right. Definitely recommend it!

I live in Silver Lake so I'm not too far from 55 Degree wine bar. I stopped in on my way home from work and had a lady give me lots of information about wines, gave me suggestions (since I said I wanted to try something new, good and inexpensive), and told me all about their wine tasting events. I was quite impressed with the service, wines and the beautiful store. The underground cellar where they conduct the wine tastings is a place that I intend to visit in the very near future. Just saw their July offer. If that's not an incentive, I don't know what is!!!
