Muddhouse Coffee - (818) 227-6833

The Muddhouse isn't very close to me, but at the recommendation of a friend, I stopped in one Saturday and really liked the atmosphere. The smell of fresh baked goodies was enough to knock my socks off. The coffee was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I felt like I was getting quality goods without the huge mark-up. I'm looking forward to going to that side of the valley again soon.

I start my mornings with a stop at Muddhouse. They open early (5:30am) and I get my large cup of dark roast for my ride to work. They have all the regular coffee beverages, and they bake their own scones (& other goodies) fresh each morning! I try to limit myself to only 1 or 2 scones a week, which is tough when there are so many mouth-watering kinds (ex: toffee chip or white-chocolate cranberry. Yum!) The only downside is they're closed on Sundays, when I'd actually have time for 2 cups of coffee (& more scones). Absolutely the best coffee place around.
